I will conquer your mind
under the spell of my word,
the limpid reflection of your soul
that I can’t resist or decipher,
greeting you with discretion
in the calm passage of life,
and while no one sees us
I will throw a kiss to your lips,
beyond on your distant land,
and while you’re blushing
with the soul leaning in your eyes,
we will get lost in the void,
under the blue sky I painted
at the undulating trace of my verses …

Voy a conquistar tu mente
bajo el hechizo de mi palabra,
el reflejo límpido de tu alma
que yo no resisto o descifro,
saludándote con discreción
en el calmado paso de la vida,
y mientras nadie nos vea
lanzaré un beso a tus labios,
allá sobre tu lejano suelo,
y mientras te vas sonrojando
con el alma asomada en tu mirada,
nos perderemos en ese vacío,
bajo el cielo azulado que pinté
en el ondulante trazo de mis versos…

Desires of skin and peach / Deseos de piel y durazno (Soneto Borgeano)

From the warm air of your breath
your chest spilled over my body
concealing with roses the despair
departing stealthy with the wind

So, I took seat under your shade
on your tenderness, which is my right
and far beyond being satisfied
I close my eyes, sigh and consent!

How is it possible not to die of love
when afar, absence breaks into tears
loud, unleashing my apprehensions?

I know that my love is not banished
while in the sublime I will possess you!
Fool me, whom so much desires you …

Desde los aires tibios de tu aliento
en mi cuerpo se derramo tu pecho
encubriendo de rosas al despecho
que partió sigiloso con el viento

Así, bajo tu sombra tome asiento
bajo tu ternura, que es mi derecho
y mas allá de quedar satisfecho
cierro los ojos, suspiro y consiento!

¿Como es posible no morir de amores
cuando lejos, la ausencia rompe el grito
en llanto desatando mis temores?

¡Yo sé bien que mi amor no esta proscrito
mientras en lo sublime te posea!
Loco de mi, quien tanto te desea…

Nota: Jorge Luis Borges escribió muchos de sus sonetos con el siguiente esquema de rima:
ABBA ABBA CDC CEE Usando versos endecasílabos. De allí que muchos escolares hispanos llamen a este tipo de soneto “Borgeano”

Contours / Contornos

At the impending beginning
of a new absence,
Your body still echoed
fresh in my hands,
dispersed between two
invisible voices, in the infinite
intimacy of white sheets,
harboring traces of your scent.
At the very edge of nothingness
I was flooded of your transparency,
with the certainty of return,
at the eve of starting
again, another anthology
drenched in your contours…

Al comienzo inminente
de una nueva ausencia,
Tu cuerpo todavía resonaba
fresco entre mis manos,
disperso entre dos voces
invisibles, en la intimidad
infinita de sabanas blancas,
albergando trazos de tu aroma.
Al mismo borde de la nada
me inundo tu transparencia,
con la certeza del retorno,
a la víspera de comenzar
de nuevo, otro florilegio
empapado de tus contornos…

Dulce serenata / Sweet serenade

Sweet, sweet you are and I am
as two droplets of dew
approaching a precipice
of molded love, and we shall be!

Today silence moved in
as scenery of curves to my bed.
Is that the brightness of your eyes
walking on my chest?

I allowed and let enter
your dreams to my site,
getting used to the blushing
from your pale cheeks.

Tomorrow an Ivory Moon
will sing a serenade for us
and at the rumor of her fury
we will let go into the wind…

Dulce, dulce eres y soy
como dos gotas de rocío
acercándose a un precipicio
de amor moldeado; y seremos!

Hoy se mudo el silencio
como paisaje de curvas a mi lecho.
Es ese el brillo de tus ojos
paseando sobre mi pecho?

Me dejo y dejo que entren
tus sueños a mi recinto,
acostumbrándome al rubor
de tus mejillas pálidas.

Mañana la luna marfil cantara
una serenata para nosotros
y en el rumor de su furia
nos soltaremos al viento…

Undulating / Ondulante

Since I got a request for audio yesterday which I did, I felt that video was just a little effort further…Enjoy 🙂

Undulating

Undulating ethereal spirit
dispersed before my eyes
You are diaphanous receptacle
of my lips and my kisses
universal chorus, yearning
that in a breath fogged
my fragile crystal heart
leaving behind the memory
of two attentive drops shining
under my uncharted words
aspiring to be able to reach
the poet’s vibrant note
beyond your open eyes
into the echo of my verses…

Ayer recibi una peticion de crear un archivo de audio y pense que con un poquito mas de esfuerzo podria ser un video…Disfrutenlo!

Ondulante

Ondulante espíritu etéreo
disperso ante mi mirada
tú eres receptáculo diáfano
de mis labios y mis besos
coro universal, anhelo
que en un soplo empañó
mi frágil corazón cristalino
dejando tras de si el recuerdo
de dos gotas atentas brillando
bajo mis palabras ignotas
aspirando poder alcanzar
la nota vibrante del poeta
mas allá de tus ojos abiertos
en el eco de mis versos…

From afar… / En la lejanía…

With the sky and the sea, alone
from afar voices and murmurs,
you emerge from the agony of waves
with your body candid as cocoon.

When the light is melted stealthy
into golden resplendent shades,
My hands will caress you premeditated
and you will know I am no longer distant.

More now I know you’re mine
in the tide that undresses the corals
breaking the chains of monotony.

Raising temporary prayers
at the return of a kiss that with irony
sublimated our love in the littorals.

Con el cielo y con el mar, a solas
en la lejanía de voces y murmullos,
emerges desde la agonía de las olas
con tu cuerpo cándido como capullo.

Cuando la luz se derrita sigilosa
en áureas sombras fulgurantes,
mis manos te acariciaran alevosas
y sabrás que ya no estoy distante.

Mas ahora que se que eres mía
en la marea que desnuda los corales
rompiendo las cadenas de la monotonía.

Elevando plegarias temporales
al retorno de un beso que con ironía
sublimo nuestro amor en los litorales.

Beauty, woman of fiery lips!

where you decided to nest forever
with your whole body, our bodies
drawn in the sand with ease
and passion born from ecstasy
where our love was clinging…

Beauty, I love you when you stay!
From the depth of your eyes
perched without fatigue on mine
in the supernatural prime of your rose,
cradled in me as a miracle from
the waves, together, just you and I
merged into an eternal diaphanous night…

Bella, mujer de labios ardientes!
Ahora estas viviendo en mi corazón
donde decidiste anidar por siempre
todo tu cuerpo, nuestros cuerpos
dibujados en la arena con soltura,
y la pasión naciendo desde el éxtasis
donde nuestro amor se aferraba.

Bella, me encantas cuando te quedas!
Desde la profundidad de tus ojos
posados sin cansancio en los míos
en la plenitud sobrenatural de tu rosa
acunada en mi como un milagro
de las olas, juntos, solos tu y yo
fundidos en una eterna noche diáfana…
