May this day be a time for reflection to all of us, let us remember all those things that unite us, the people we lost, all that we have in common, let us share a memory of happiness or an act of compassion to ignite the beginning of a new year, grateful for all that we accomplished, all that we gained and learn from others, all we received, to continue to grow this good vibe into our life! What we send out to the Universe we attract ten fold towards us shaping our path…

The Lady of the Water / La Dama del Agua

Sometimes its hard to express certain feelings with words without overflowing the paper with large quantities of emotional ink. I am deeply grateful for so many wonderful messages of love and light on my birthday and I would like to let all of you know, how happy and grateful I am. So I decided to ask the Universe some help to clear my mind and stay focus as I wrote, but instead I got a clear message: “Go take a walk in the park, walk slow, take your time…”
So I left the pen and went for that walk and start shooting some photos. I walked long, further than many times hoping to unleash my feelings with a new image, with a new vision or perhaps a new poem. At some point I found a fountain, it was very windy and the water was scattering around with the wind. I got absorbed by the beauty of the sound of water and the shapes that I started to see in my head so I decided to setup the camera in a way that I could freeze those moments on time and within the photos I found the lady of the water I am sharing with you today. I am not sure what the lesson in here would be to you, but to me, this reminded me of my eternal love affair with the “Lady of the Water”, and it is proof enough for me to continue loving her. Without all of your messages, I would not have gone out to take this picture…

…So I am truly thankful to all you, my friends, for being here sharing and supporting my journey!

La Dama del Agua

A veces es difícil expresar ciertos sentimientos con palabras sin desbordar el papel con grandes cantidades de tinta emocional. Estoy profundamente agradecido por tantos maravillosos mensajes de amor y luz en mi cumpleaños y quiero que todos ustedes lo sepan. Es así como decidí preguntar al Universo por un poco de ayuda para aclarar mi mente y permanecer enfocado mientras escribía, pero en cambio recibí un claro mensaje: “Ve a tomar un paseo por el parque, camina despacio, tómate tu tiempo …”
Entonces dejé la pluma y fui por ese paseo y empece a tomar algunas fotos. Caminé mucho, más allá de lo usual en muchas ocasiones con la esperanza de dar rienda suelta a mis sentimientos con una nueva imagen, con una nueva visión o quizás un nuevo poema. En un cierto punto encontré una fuente, hacía mucho viento y el agua se esparcía con brevedad por el viento. Me quede absorto por la belleza del sonido del agua y las formas que empecé a ver en mi cabeza, así que decidí configurar la cámara a manera de poder congelar esos momentos en el tiempo y entre las fotos que tome encontré la Dama del Agua que ahora estoy compartiendo con ustedes. No estoy seguro de cuál es la lección aquí sería para ustedes, pero para mí, esto es un recordatorio de mi historia de amor eterno con la “Dama del Agua”, y es prueba suficiente para seguir amándola. Sin todos sus mensajes, no habría salido hoy a tomar esta fotografía…

…Así que estoy muy agradecido a todos ustedes, mis amigos, por estar aquí compartiendo y apoyando mi viaje!

Lady on the lake

Your Voice… / Tu Voz…

Today I only hear your voice in my world
far beyond the snow banging on the window
a voice with the accuracy of the sharp wind
a murmur loaded of tenderness in the morning.

Your solemn voice accompanied by heaven
and between the gravity of your echo a lament
that returned light in a tune to the bright star
falling into my chest like pieces of ice.

Your voice spreads like belfry and murmur
as cooing of thousand flavors laden with tuberose
for your voice is as if you hated me and loved me.

As for today I only hear your voice sighing
an immense voice resounding in the distance
at times sweet, others sad. So is your voice, Adored!

Hoy escucho solo tu voz en mi mundo
mas allá de la nieve golpeando la ventana
una voz con la precisión del viento agudo
un murmullo cargado de ternura en la mañana.

Tu voz solemne acompañada por el cielo
y entre la gravedad de tu eco un lamento
que devolvió en una tonada la luz al lucero
cayendo en mi pecho como pedazos de hielo.

Tu voz se esparce como campanario y murmullo
como arrullo de mil aromas cargados de nardos
porque tu voz es como si me odiaras y me amaras.

En cuanto a hoy solo escucho tu voz entre suspiros
una voz inmensa que retumba en la distancia
unas veces dulce, otras triste. Así es tu voz, Adorada!

let it snow out…

Note:today was the first day of snow we had here in Yokohama and the photo is just from my window. it is the first time in all this years I see so much snow here, so this poem came as the snow was falling outside….

The Joy of Your Bench

Like every bit of joy the life we shared
in that bench we plotted revolutions
within delusional costumes in allusion
to the countless occasions we use to part.

And we departed into timeless journeys
of light and dark, of calm and excitement
to rescue damsels within dragon’s distress
or the grumpy old men stuck in doggerel.

We did great and will continue to do so
at least that blue Unicorn was right about
crossroads anew waiting to the next encounter

And many more time travels to conclude
in this timeless labyrinth where light is a luxury
from us who were and we knew it not…

Bell crickets at the toilet


I went to have dinner on my favorite sushi restaurant here in Yokohama. I must admit I am still drunk, however I want to share with you a short story. When I got in I was received by the sweet sound of nature. The music was spiced by the harmonious chanting of Bell crickets all alone. I had a wondrous dinner and a great deal of sake, still that sound was bringing back to my head great memories of my past, in the time I spent in the Amazons….funny thing is, when I went to the toilet the sound was amplified by a thousand and I kind of freak out and ask my friend Wataru san, who is the son of the owner, what was wrong. He replayed to me in his gentle Japanese “Suzumushi!” I could only give him a bewildered face in awe, and the rest came from my phone translator telling me “Bell Crickets” and this video of what Wataru showed me at the toilet!
Please notice that I really enjoyed this experience as I had a wonderful dinner with the sounds of Stillness!

Welcome to my world!

I had always ask to myself countless questions, regardless they do or not have an answer. One of them I ask daily is: “Why do I write?” Well, I do not seek to answer that but I assure you, when I do I usually get in a trance like state of mind and tap into a place where light is dim and twilight is queen. I do not question nor runaway from that place anymore. I am comfortable there in stillness, peace and joy. I created this blog with the intention to share with all whom decide to follow, a window into my books, my poetry, my photography, my videos and my music…..
