“In Asylum”

I am seeking asylum
my soul is bankrupt,
leap into the void
captive of a minstrel,
a thousand voices die out
among calm chains.
My eyes find no respite,
I sigh and stirred;
Rest in a chord,
on a strange climate,
submissive, uncompromising
not giving in to my sorrow
on an abstract time
seeking one letter
in Elysian fields,
into a captive mind
defoliating the system.
Pause, shelter,
do not let them oppress!
The desert also flourishes
bud shaped,
dropwise,
Sword of the wind,
errant and fiery,
Raised my voice
welcome home!

Estoy buscando asilo
mi alma esta en quiebra,
salto al vacío
cautivo del juglar,
mil voces se extinguen
entre cadenas serenas.
Mis ojos no hallan respiro,
suspiro y me agito;
Reposo en un acorde,
en un clima extraño,
sumiso, sin compromisos,
no cediendo a mi tristeza
en un tiempo abstracto,
buscando una letra
en campos elisios,
en la mente cautiva
deshojando al sistema.
Pausa, refugio,
no dejes que te opriman!
El desierto también florece
en forma de brote,
gota a gota,
espada del viento,
errante y fiera,
– Levanté la voz –
bienvenido a casa!

In the middle ages, when a fugitive entered a church and screamed “in Asylum” he was immediately given protection and immunity by the priest. The authorities had no jurisdiction within the church. From there evolved what we all know today as diplomatic asylum. “In Asylum” is a latin word meaning “the sacred host”
