The word that use to be… / La palabra que solía ser…

At the surface of dreams
a thousand words dry out
persisting only on paper.
blurred and irresistible,
leaving weeping behind
at the poet’s childhood.

We were fog and sun
reviving the extinct word
opening cleavages of verse
stacking letters and letter
like one who do not hurry
to bite insomnia.

Words more or less
flush of an abyss
without excuses or covenants
argument and statement
of a throbbing heart
sharp and immortal …
flourish-24503_640
En la superficie de los sueños
se resecan mil palabras
persistiendo solo en papel.
Borrosas e irresistibles,
dejando al llanto atrás
en la infancia del poeta.

Fuimos niebla y sol
reviviendo la palabra extintas
abriendo clivajes del verso
apilando letras y letra
como quien no se apresura
a morder el insomnio.

Palabras mas o menos
al ras de un abismo
sin pretextos ni convenios
argumento y declaración
de un corazón que palpita
nítido e inmortal…
