Today I remember you quiet, as a glance
at times verdigris and others a little bluish,
as a bright star from my distant exile
illuminating my path while I weep clarity
Unhurried on this remoteness consuming me
whereas you are rose taking her time,
lifting yourself from the vastness of the stars
and the stillness in my soul remembering alone.
Oh Mother, I carry you impregnated on every sigh
of this world that was left without your charms,
as my lettering’s being left without love.
Today your name sounds timeless in my mind
and is flowing as broad river that never end
as the hours pass on as your clear waters…

Condolences!
Thank you dear friend…
A mother could not hope to have her memory immortalized in a more eloquent or loving fashion.
I’m very sorry for your loss, my brother…
Thomas
Thank you brother, this was not the return I expected after a long holiday but somehow I feel she is now resting after a long fight with health. I know she is now finally in peace….
If she’s half the woman you wrote about, she deserves peace…and she’s forever in your soul…
I think I may not had said enough Thomas, it is hard to put in words what I am feeling right now my friend….
No one never feels that they can adequately convey what their mother means to them. The important part is that she knew…
Indeed my friend…
Your mother travels to where she is needed.
I believe so dear Norm! Thank you for being there my dearest friend!!
My condolences, Gavriel, on the passing of your Mom. You always spoke of her with such tenderness and this poem does no less. Thank you, too, for posting a photo. You have her eyes.
Thank you dear Elaine, it is a very surreal moment for me today…I appreciate and receive your words with deep gratitude.
