Today the shadow of our love
is brighter than a sordid word
living beyond ourselves, while
we thought that love was dead.
Today raindrops fall monotonous
thundering like the old engine loom
Weaving memories into the window
as long as the season goes by.
And I thought you now forgotten,
sighing over this letter made of rainfall
from roof to roof, straight to your dreams
to say that I found you upon waking
of this lethargy, among memory droplets
seeking shelter within my chest…
Gorgeous.
thank you Mikels!
I feel this way sometimes…
There is a always enough light in darkness to pick up flashes of the past… 🙂

Wonderful poem, Dear Friend. Such a genius, such an inspiration…! 🙂 I think I am going to write a poem that will be a gift to you from a fellow poet who sees the world in the same way you do, and it will be both in Spanish and English, as I translate my own poetry from Spanish to English and from English to Spanish. For now, I keep reading your works in search for my inspiration… 🙂 Greetings from England! 🙂
